Good Morning,
I had our event team check for me yesterday, and it doesn't look like you're signed up yet for the 34th Annual National No-Tillage Conference in St. Louis on Jan 6-9. You still have time to claim a money-saving scholarship courtesy of the Conservation Ag Foundation. To claim your scholarship, simply enter code CAF330 on your registration form and save $330 OFF the full registration rate. Click here to register ... or call/text 262-777-2401 to get signed up.
I thought the team would take it easy on me and let me enjoy my time at the conference reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones, but they're putting me to work! I'll be taking the stage to moderate a thought-provoking discussion with 3 No-Till Innovators about the critical role farmer-to-farmer mentorship plays in the advancement of no-till, cover crops and other conservation practices. The panelists shine light on the true value of existing mentorship programs and share ideas on where you can find real opportunities to connect, learn and grow with other no-tillers. I'll be joined by:
- Jim Moseley — A third generation farmer, Jim owned Ag Ridge Farms —a 2,800-acre corn and soybean farm — in Clarks Hill, Ind., for over thirty years and was also managing partner of Infinity Pork, LLC, raising 50,000 hogs per year. He also served as U.S. Deputy Secretary of Agriculture from July 2001 to April 2005, before returning to farming full-time.
- Lisa Holscher — Raised on a farm in Southwest Indiana, Lisa's family continues their commodity crop and beef operation and use no-till and cover crops as part of their cropping system. Lisa joined the Conservation Cropping Systems Initiative (CCSI) in 2012 as a Program Manager.
- Rodney Rulon — Rodney runs a family farm — Rulon Enterprises — in Arcadia, Ind., that continues a seven-generation tradition of sustainable and environmentally responsible farming. Rulon Enterprises is a proud alum of the American Soybean Association's National Conservation Legacy Award. Rodney also currently serves as President of the Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District.
I am really looking forward to this session that will no-doubt help spotlight the importance of no-till knowledge sharing among peers and mentoring those getting started with conservation ag practices on their operation. In a recent blog, my son Mike, shared some thoughts on this very topic and why veteran no-tillers need to 'strap on the headlamp' and take the lead in continuing to move conservation ag practices forward with future generations. Click here to give it a read.
Here is a link to the program so you can check out all of the other sessions and speakers that are planned for the 2026 NNTC. In my opinion, it's one of our best jam-packed with 4 days of valuable networking, idea generating roundtables, must-attend general sessions including the new "Ted Talk" style session and No-Till Shark Tank, though-provoking classrooms and much more!
Available hotel rooms are filling up quick and the NNTC room block deadline is this coming Tuesday (12/23). So don't wait much longer to get signed up and book your room.
I look forward to seeing you in St. Louis.
Best Regards,

Subject: Will I see you in St. Louis?
Hi manoj,
After a couple years hiatus, I am making my return to the 34th Annual National No-Tillage Conference in St. Louis on January 6-9. Will I see you there?
We recently conducted a survey where many farmers shared feedback on the rising costs to make investments in their operations. As the editor of No-Till Farmer for over 50 years, I'm passionate about helping farmers like you access the tools, strategies and connections you need to succeed in today's challenging environment.
That's why I wanted to personally share an exciting opportunity with you. I've worked with our event team to improve your exclusive Alumni discount to a rate that you'll be able to redeem and join me in St. Louis. Now when you use code ALUMNI, you will be able to register for the 4-day event for just $149 — that's $430 off the full event rate! Click here to register ... or call/text 262-777-2401 to get signed up.
PLUS, if you register by this coming Sunday (12/14), you will be entered into a drawing for an entirely free hotel stay for the duration of the conference at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch.
Check out the full program to see what is planned for these 4 days of non-stop learning and networking.
If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to Luke Weigel, NNTC Brand Manager, at lweigel@lessitermedia.com.
I hope to see you in St. Louis!
Best Regards,
Frank Lessiter
