This session will focus on helping growers and ag service professionals assess nitrogen availability from crop residue, cover crops, manure and organic matter. Discover how their imagery-based platform provides real-time insights to guide in-season nitrogen management and make the most of every nitrogen source
Founder and CEO Jackson Stansell will walk through nitrogen dynamics related to non-fertilizer sources and show why models struggle to estimate availability under complex conditions. You'll also see how Sentinel Ag’s software platform integrates imagery and other data to assess nitrogen contributions in real time.
Finally, we’ll explore how the platform turns imagery and data into actionable insights, helping you make nitrogen management decisions that improve profitability, crop health and soil health.
You Will Learn:
Nitrogen dynamics related to non-fertilizer nitrogen sources
How imagery provides an assessment of non-fertilizer nitrogen contribution differently from modeling or credits
How Sentinel's platform turns imagery and data into action
Profit opportunities with nitrogen management that leverages non-fertilizer sources
Jackson Stansell, Founder & CEO of Sentinel Ag, blends engineering expertise with a passion for smarter farming. A Dothan, AL native, he holds a Harvard degree in Engineering Sciences and a master’s in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. There, he developed N-Time, an image-based nitrogen management system that has now become Sentinel Ag's flagship solution, Sentinel. Since founding Sentinel Ag, then Sentinel Fertigation, in 2021, Jackson has led the team in helping farmers boost efficiency and profitability through precision nitrogen management.
